Opens November 9 at L.A. LIVE

March of Dimes, the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health, and Pampers today announced Imagine a World, a free, interactive pop-up experience where guests of all ages can imagine a world where every baby is born healthy. In celebration of Prematurity Awareness Month in November, the experience is inspired by the idea that every baby deserves a chance to thrive and grow up to change the world.

From November 9 - 11, The March of Dimes Imagine a World event, located at L.A. Live

in Downtown Los Angeles, will take place in a magical dome that captures the whimsy,

imagination and innocence of childhood. Interactive family-friendly displays and activities

will encourage participants to engage with the experience and share their stories through

video and photo opportunities on site and via social media for those who wish to celebrate

across the country. The experience will feature a photo gallery by world-renowned

photographer and March of Dimes Ambassador, Anne Geddes. On-site activities

including interactive technology stations featuring games and puzzles, selfie stations, DIY

flower crown-making and craft stations and garden party photo booths. Family-friendly

guest services include the Pampers changing station, a stroller park and nursing stations.

In addition to its residence at L.A. Live, Imagine a World will also connect families across

the country through digital extensions, including the opportunity to share on a social

media wall and livestream videos throughout the day.

“In the United States, 1 in 10 babies is born prematurely every year. At the March of

Dimes, we are working to change that. We are leading the fight for the health of every

mom and baby through groundbreaking research, education, advocacy and community

programs. We are not just imagining a world where all babies are given the healthiest

start, but making it a reality” says Stacey D. Stewart, President of the March of Dimes.

“We are thrilled to partner with Pampers for this event and celebrate the magic that babies

bring into our world.”

“Pampers remains committed to our heritage of providing innovative solutions to support

preemies and NICU nurses for over 46 years,” said Andrea Zahumensky, Brand Director

North America Baby Care. “We are proud to partner again with March of Dimes and their

efforts to give every baby a fighting chance. In honor of Prematurity Awareness Month,

we will provide a box of our newest innovation to every NICU across the country in-service

of our shared mission to care for the happy, healthy development of every baby –

including the littlest fighters.”

Throughout November, Prematurity Awareness Month, the March of Dimes focuses its

efforts on bringing attention to premature birth, the leading cause of death in children

under 5 worldwide. While we have identified some of the causes of premature birth, such

as preeclampsia, family health history and biological or anatomical complications, in many

instances and for many women the cause has yet to be discovered. The March of Dimes

is committed to do everything in its power to spread awareness, raise critical funds and

support families affected by premature birth by funding groundbreaking research,

education, advocacy and community programs that strive to give every mom the

opportunity to have a healthy pregnancy and every baby the chance to survive and thrive.

For more than 46 years, Pampers has led innovation supporting Neonatal Intensive Care

Unit (NICU) nurses and their tiniest patients. In 2002, Pampers was the first major diaper

brand to introduce a preemie diaper for hospitals. In 2016, Pampers partnered with NICU

nurses to design and introduce the Pampers Preemie Swaddlers Size P3 diaper, for

babies born in the second trimester. Pampers is committed to delivering on the key needs

of healthcare professionals to provide the best care for baby and create tailored diapering

solutions.
