Million Dollar Baby - L.A Fashionista Throws Million Dollar Bash for Baby's 1st Birthday!


Thank you Dr. Chiu Christine Chiu for inviting P and I to#BabyGTurns1 birthday party! Not only is Dr. Chiu the NUMBER ONE plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, he and his gorgeous and brilliant wife knows how to throw a party! WOWZER!

Held at the new Cayton Museum in Santa Monica Place which opens doors officially next week, it was everything you’d expect and more. The Claw machine that dispensed Gucci totes (watch my InstaStory), I must add, I tried with all my might to win the Bambi however won a whale and dinosaur plush that were MASSIVE at the carnival games. We were all gifted Morey BodyBoards, customized T-Shirts and more. The food, OMG, for the adults, Petrossian caviar on tater tot‘s, yes, you read that right, and it was divine! The kids food ranged from hot dog tots, mini hamburgers, pizza, pasta and dessert, Cotton candy, donuts, cake! That’s just to name a few.

Heads up, now that summer is here, make sure you take care of your skin, visit Dr. Chiu, he’ll guide you correctly! One of the things I love about him and his staff, they let you know exactly what you need and don’t. There’s no “up-selling” they listen to you and your needs and help you get what you desire. The highly anticipated Cayton Children’s Museum will open to the general public on Sunday, June 30, at Santa Monica Place. Known for the past 20 years as the Zimmer Children’s Museum, located near LACMA, the all-new Museum will offer hands-on play exhibits and cultural programs for children and families. L.A. Philanthropists Christine and Dr. Gabriel Chiu chose to give their son, Gabriel Chiu III, a one million gift donation on the occasion of his first birthday to a dedicate a wing of the Museum. The generous donation will support ShareWell, the nonprofit behind the Cayton, which is dedicated to nurturing children to become confidant, compassionate human beings with the design to make the world a better place. Originally privitazing the iconic Santa Monica Pier for Baby Gabriel’s birthday, the Chiu’s decided instead to give the money to the Museum so as to foster the spirit of philanthropy at a very early child. Nonetheless, the Chiu’s with help with acclaimed event production company will bring the Santa Monica Pier to the Museum with custom roller coaster, rides, games, entertainment, elevated carnival treats, live art performances in addition to the Museum’s exciting interactive exhibitions. Resulting from this occasion is also the Chiu Fun-For-All fund which will provide free museum admission for children of underserved communities.

Dr. Gabriel Chiu is an award-winning plastic and reconstructive surgeon, married to philanthropist, noted couture collector, and investor Christine Chiu, who graduated from Pepperdine University with honors in International Business prior to spending more than a decade in the public relations and beauty industries. Christine has served on a variety of boards in L.A. including: The Museum of Contemporary Art's Contemporaries, Los Angeles County Museum of Art's Costume Council and the Fashion Group International of Los Angeles. Currently, she serves on The Blue Ribbon for The Music Center, UNICEF- Chinese Children's Initiative, the Learning Lab Ventures and the Art of Elysium. Together, The Chius avidly support the following organizations: AVIVA, Cedars Sinai, the American Red Cross, John Wayne Cancer Institute, P.S. Arts, Children Mending Hearts, Art of Elysium, Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis, Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Obesity, Children's Action Network, Center Dance Arts and the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Recently, the L.A. philanthropists joined HRH Prince Charles in celebrating the opening of The Prince’s Foundation CHIU Integrated Health Programme, the new health and wellness center located at the Dumfries House in Cumnock, Ayrshire, Scotland aimed at providing health and enrichment opportunities to the local community.This marked their first major philanthropic endeavor in the U.K. The center’s East and West treatment rooms are named for their son, Gabriel Christian Chiu III. They recently started the Chiu Scholar Fund in partnership with the Ghetto Film School which will ensure that 100% of annual costs will be covered for every newly admitted Ghetto Film School Los Angeles students to provide aspiring talented film makers the tools to become America’s next generation of great story tellers. In 2020, the Chiu’s look forward to co-hosting the Inaugural Elizabeth Taylor Aids Foundation Gala at what will be the brand-new Academy Museum.
