Marc Guggenheim and Colin O’Donoghue O’Donoghue from DREAMWORKS Wizards: Tales of Arcadia Interview

I had the opportunity to interview Marc Guggenheim and Colin O’Donoghue and chat about DREAMWORKS Wizards: Tales of Arcadia! My entire interview is here, so grab a cup a coffee and enjoy the interview.

Marc Guggenheim, who’s an executive producer, as well as showrunner, of Tales of Arcadia has worked on The CW’s Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl, so he’s definitely not new to hit shows!

Colin O’Donoghue actor and musician, best known for portraying Captain Killian "Hook" Jones on the TV show Once Upon a Time and

whom voices Douxie, and Tales Of Arcadia. We also need to add bread baker to his list of credentials! Colin had posted on Instagram his extremely talented bread baking skills and I had to ask him how it turned out. I love that he posted about it because I was able to show my kiddo, “look Douxie is baking, ” and his response was, “that’s cool, let’s give it a try!” We now have a baker in the making!

It’s been four years since Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia on Netflix, created by Guillermo del Toro and produced by Dreamworks, welcome to Arcadia Oaks, with hero’s and trills wreaking havoc and shenanigans.

The adventures continues with two seasons of 3Below with humanoid aliens who crash land on earth whilst escaping a civil war. Now, it’s come to the final chapter of the Tales of Arcadia franchise! Wizards, debuts on today, with a time-traveling fantasy epic that spans Camelot and the suburbs.

Wizards begins following 3Below’s second season, Wizards picks up with Merlin’s apprentice Douxie (Colin O’Donoghue), and a magical war is occurring across time which involves Arthurian characters Merlin and Morgana (David Bradley, and Lena Headey).

Following Trollhunters and the second series 3Below, Wizards marks the final chapter in the trilogy that brings together the three worlds.

Wizards: Tales of Arcadia begins with wizard-in-training Douxie (Colin O’Donoghue) embarking on a time-bending adventure to medieval Camelot that leads to an apocalyptic battle for the control of magic that will determine the fate of these supernatural worlds that have now converged.

Created and executive produced by del Toro, Wizards is also executive produced by Marc Guggenheim and Chad Hammes while Chad Quandt & Aaron Waltke serve as co-executive producers. DreamWorks Tales of Arcadia: Wizards sets out to conclude the stories of Trollhunters and 3Below with an epic time-traveling story that will excite old and new fans alike.

In celebration of the final chapter, we have the season trailer to share with you below! DreamWorks Tales of Arcadia: Wizards returns to Netflix August 7.
