As in recent years, The Beverly Hills Food & Wine Festival looks poised to set the bar as the

platinum standard of posh food and wine festivals. Festival patrons will have the chance to truly relax and enjoy the wide variety of delicious wines and spirits on hand, as well as a seemingly endless array of sweet and savory samplings. Guests can experience the culinary talents of today's hottest new chefs, sip the finest quality liquors and ales available, and relinquish their senses to a tasty tour de force that is full of fun and flavor.

While The Beverly Hills Food & Wine Festival has established itself as a world-class celebration of food and drinks, it has also become a pivotal source of support for the charitable causes that benefit from the proceeds of the event. This year, a portion of the money generated by ticket sales and sponsorship will be donated to Alex's Lemonade Stand, a charity that was founded by 4 year Alex, a young girl who was determined to make a difference in the fight to find a cure for childhood cancer.

About Alex’s Lemonade Stand: ALSF was the dream and hope of a 4 year old girl who wanted to cure her own, and millions of other children affected by cancer. With the help of her brother and parents, the little girl, Alex, set up her first Lemonade stand at age 4 in 2004 and began her journey to raise money for kids with cancer. News of this first stand evolved into a national fundraising movement. In just four short years, this foundation raised over 1 million dollars! Sadly, 4 years after its start, cancer took Alex from this world. Her spirit and efforts live on though her parents and millions of other in support of Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Today they have raised over 120 million dollars to support cancer research.

“Our mission is simple: to raise money for and awareness of childhood cancer causes- especially research into new treatments and cures- and to encourage, and empower others, especially children, to get involved and make a difference for children with cancer.”
