Finding Dory

I had the pleasure of previewing Finding Dory this past weekend, the movie is amazing. It took 13 years in the making but in fish years it was 6 months. The story begins, "Six months after the events of the first film, Dory suddenly recalls her childhood memories. Remembering something about "the jewel of Morro Bay, California", accompanied by Nemo and Marlin, she sets out to find her family. She arrives at the Monterey Marine Life Institute, where she meets Bailey, a white beluga whale; Destiny, a whale shark;and Hank, an octopus, who becomes her guide."

There's nothing like family, my grandfather passed away this week and this leaves my father parentless, the reality of this is heart breaking for me. Technically my father isn't alone, he has us kids, grandchild, his siblings but parents are irreplaceable. Finding Dory brought it home, we need to stick together, place our differences aside, believe in one another and most important help each other without expecting anything in return.

Finding Dory is captivating, you'll laugh and cry. The movie is remarkable, from the moment you sit down all sorts of emotions will be stirred, just know that you'll leave feeling happy and can accomplish anything you want if you set your mind to it. Finding Dory will keep your little ones paying attention, the movies characters are natural, pure in thought and ridiculously funny. Your youngest kiddo will intuitively understand what's going because of how natural it feels.

Family doesn't have to be blood, family is who we let in our lives, we love them and fiercely protect them. That's your family, your tribe, who's ever lucky to be part of your tribe, appreciate them, love them hard and don't let go. I recommend seeing Finding Dory with your family, you won't want to miss this because it's spectacular.

FINDING DORY swims in theatres everywhere on June 17th!
