5th ANNUAL RED CARPET SAFETY
The 5th ANNUAL RED CARPET SAFETY EVENT held at Sony Studios Lot was a fun filled, educational, inspiring and engaging event for parents and kids. Not only did they raise awareness but the event held was to benefit Military Children! The event aimed to help spread awareness about Car Seat Safety as well as other areas of safety that affect parents and their precious loved ones. Did you know that 4 out of every 5 car seats are NOT installed properly? That’s 80% of children who are riding around unsafe in cars. #RedCARpetSafety. The event was hosted by Ali Landry and Saarah Samadani whom founded RED CARPET SAFETY because their little ones are in car seats. The event exists to spread awareness for car seat safety, as well as other areas of safety for mom and baby.
We learned about Car Seat Safety, On-The-Go Safety, Activity Safety, Home Safety, Body Care and Baby-Wearing Safety. In addition to the great products on display, they had an inspiring menu of lectures, seminars and demonstrations from renowned experts in the world of family and parenting. Spread over 10K sq feet of space on Sony Studios Lot, the Red CARpet Safety Awareness Event was a day of fun filled packed action.
We were shown car seat safety demonstrations on Diono Pacificas, Radians and Rainiers; Orbitbaby G3 Toddler seats; UPPAbaby Mesa infant seats; Nuna PIPA infant seats; and more. Our kiddos had major fun coasting away in Step2 Up and Down Roller Coasters AND some creative play with some of Step2 Play houses, kitchens, and floor activities. Tired of that stinky diaper bag? We check out Ju-Ju-Be'sfashionable bags and learned about why their bags rarely have crumbs in them and are always germ-free. In there On-The-Go Room with Nuna, we saw how easy and fun it can be to travel with baby in the Pipa infant car seat, whether it’s just to the store or on a road trip. Let’s not forget that Home is Where the Heart Is….AND where safety is a must! We saw many products to help make the home safer from Munchkin. Shade your babe with UPPAbaby & we saw how the 3 second install of their Mesa infant car seats are life-changing. We learned how to get that body back from the inside AND out with some of their specialists and products that help make that happen in their Body Care Room! My personal favorite, baby-safe products from Babyganics, from their laundry detergents, wipes, sanitizers and so much more.
We put our feet up in the Nursing Lounge and got some tips/advice from one of Lansinoh lactation consultants. Lastly, let’s not forget the amazing and fun activities they had for us and our little ones with extreme coasters, climbers, water-play, tricycle race track, face painting, cookie-cutter sandwich-making, arts and crafts, play-house fun, imaginary kitchen play, some carnival games, and much more!
