In June 2015, Kimora Lee Simmons launched her KLS label as a high end line, opening its first boutique in Beverly Hills. If you haven’t ventured into the KLS store you are truly missing out. Every time I step into the KLS store, it’s minimalist white-walled shop, I find something new to lust after.
KLS as always is one step ahead of the game, launching their Resort line for 2017... FLAWLESS! Kimora Lee Simmons has brought her high end fashion, European flair and touch of elegance to the states and she’s on fire. KLS has mixed together classic sportswear elements with bohemian details. A touch of raffia texture, wildcat prints, dollops of feather and fringe.
Simmons accentuated her pieces with embellishments and they worked magic. The collection as a whole exudes the fashion savvy woman that is on the go, from work wear to dinner meetings with a sense of flair.
The feeling given is of fluidity, lovely ripples sleeves on silk dresses, a comfortable feel of looseness in several of the looks. Some were just a work of art with their vigorous twisting and or draping. Dressy shorts and easygoing A-line frocks underscored the collection’s breezy tone.
