Sing!

Thank you The Moms for inviting us to a special pre-screening of Sing. What a great movie for the entire family. A movie about family, working as a team, problem solving and most importantly, never giving up on your dreams and believing in yourself. The Moms ladies Melissa and Denise are the epitome of standing strong, true friendship and having faith, which is half the battle, that you can get through anything.

I don’t want to spoil the movie for you, I will say you'll fall in love with all the characters but my favorite was the gorilla played by Taron Egerton. His character, Johnny, is big, strong, scary looking but inside he's a loving, gentle soul. Whenever we hear, “don’t judge a book by it’s cover,” I think of Johnny. We look at people, their image they are portraying but truthfully we really don't know what’s in their heart. Take a moment going forward to not judge and to listen when someone speaks with all your heart. It might not mean anything to you but it might mean the world to them.

~Dapper Koala Buster Moon presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. An eternal optimist, and a bit of a scoundrel, he loves his theater above all and will do anything to preserve it. Facing the crumbling of his life's ambition, he takes one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world's greatest singing competition. Five contestants emerge: a mouse, a timid elephant, a pig, a gorilla and a punk-rock porcupine.
