This year, Google’s annual Valentine’s Day Doodle will be an interactive, 4 level game featuring the pangolin. The story centers around 2 pangolins, separated by distance, who have been sending love letters to one another. They decide to meet face-to-face for the first time on Valentine’s Day. It’s the Pangolin’s only chance to make a good impression, so it travels the world, seeking to learn the skills to create the perfect date.
Google and WWF hope to drive awareness to the plight of the pangolin, as they are the most trafficked mammal in the world. The game will feature a fact card about pangolins and a link to WWF’s website, where users can learn more about global efforts to protect pangolins and other endangered species. By increasing awareness, we can provide a better future for pangolins. Help spread the word!
