WEXLER'S DELI ANNOUNCES THIRD LOCATION IN CENTURY CITY


Chef Micah Wexler and partner Michael Kassar will debut the third location of

Wexler’s Deli at Westfield Century City this Summer 2017!

Following the success of their first two locations in Downtown LA’s historic Grand Central Market and Santa Monica, chef Micah Wexler and partner Michael Kassar announce the opening of Wexler’s Deli’s third location at Westfield Century City in August. This summer, the duo will bring their commitment to serving Jewish Deli soul food to the newly remodeled retail and restaurant destination. Wexler and Kassar jointly state: “We are thrilled to be a part of the Century City community and this project where the city's best one-stop shopping hub will become a dining destination with truly exciting food. We look forward to bringing Deli culture to this part of town where people can enjoy classics that are all cured, smoked, and hand-sliced in-house."

The menu at Wexler’s Deli will feature traditional deli favorites including corned beef, pastrami, lox, and sturgeon, as well as house made condiments and freshly baked breads and bagels. Returning favorites from both the Downtown LA and Santa Monica locations include The O.G. sandwich with pastrami, mustard, and rye, Smoked Meat and Smoked Fish Packages for extensive office catering, along with a selection of new items exclusive to the Century City

location. Wexler’s Deli’s latest location at Westfield Century City will be designed in partnership with Otto Design Group (ODG). Keeping in line with Wexler’s value of tradition, quality, and craftsmanship, ODG will bring out these essential components in its updated look for the new Century City counter spot. ODG aims to brighten the signature Wexler’s butcher block and subway tile palette, juxtaposing the look with hearty old-school aluminum details and graphic flourishes. The extra thick maple butcher block will sit atop white subway tiles in a new staggered layout adorned with hand painted illustrations by Gregory Siff. New metal details – such as a reeded glass patchwork on the walls and shelving set with custom signage – will evoke vintage Jewish deli style. ODG’s updated graphics and a freshly re-designed menu will also enhance the expression of Wexler’s Deli’s unique voice. The 400-square foot restaurant will feature 10 counter seats and communal seating in the renovated dining terrace.

BTW Wexler's Deli offers a Caviar Giftbox that is out of this world! Wexler’s Deli Caviar from Black River Caviar has a second to none focus on sustainability and preservation of sturgeon species. Black River Caviar were the first to aquaculture sturgeon in the southern hemisphere and consistently generate a masterful product all while constantly striving to make each harvest better by using the latest innovative technology and seeking to improve every aspect of cultivation.
