OLAF'S FROZEN ADVENTURE

Thank you, Walt Disney Animation Studios for having me at a pre-screening of OLAF'S FROZEN ADVENTURE with my kiddo. It was an unforgettable night, my heart was overfilled with gratitude and joy. My little one can’t stop talking about OLAF'S FROZEN ADVENTURE, especially his chat with Josh Gad! I’ll get to that in a minute, but first, let me give you the scoop. After our screening of OLAF'S FROZEN ADVENTURE, we had a Q&A with Josh Gad (voice of “Olaf”), Directors Stevie Wermers-Skelton & Kevin Deters and Producer Roy Conli. Afterwards, we were privy to the composing duo, Kate Anderson and Elyssa Samsel who performed one of the new, four songs featured. That’s right, in this 21-minute animation OLAF’S FROZEN ADVENTURE there are 4 new songs.

Y’all my heart was going to explode when my little sidekick raised his hand to ask a question, actually he had his hand raised the entire time and as the Q&A was wrapping up Josh Gad stopped and acknowledged my kiddo, Mr. Gad even pointed out that he’s had his, “hand raised the entire time and what’s your question.” First I’d like to point out what a gentleman Josh Gad is for taking the time to address my son's question and most importantly that he was aware that P had his hand up the entire time. As a mom, it warms my heart, this extremely talented actor took the time to validate his littlest fan, my son, which had me over the moon. When you get a chance check out our pictures from that night! Now, I can’t say what the question was because I don't want to give away the 21-minute flick but the question was absolutely awesome because Josh took his time explaining and validating his feelings and making sure all kids know, that all the animals in the movie are friends and get along.

Moms get ready to have the soundtrack on repeat for holiday cheer! From Arendelle to your home, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure will have you singing, leaping and smiling. Even better, the soundtrack is available now! Get it before had, it will get you into the festive spirit. The movie takes place during Elsa and Anna first holiday since opening the gates, they quickly realize they might not have a family tradition. Here’s where the shenanigans with Olaf ensue. As olaf sets off to find every family, families tradition in Arendelle, Elsa starts to look for theirs in the unlikeliest place.

I have to share before I became a mom, we celebrated Christmas but really we didn't have a tradition per say. As soon as I became a mom, I knew I wanted one tradition for my son, and that was to get him a new ornament every year so by time he goes away to college, has a family of his own, he’ll have his own ornaments and can share it with his family in the future. I make sure the pieces are a limited edition and on the bottom of each box I write the year. Now if you’re wondering if I place precious ornaments on his tree that’s in his room, no, I keep them in the Christmas container, his tree ornaments are the everyday fun ornaments that if they broke, it’s no big deal. Another tradition we have, baking cookies and attempting to build a gingerbread house. Attempting is the key word, between the two of us laughing, trying to keep the walls up with the frosting provided is hilarious. First off we lick the frosting, which doesn’t leave much to put the house together and even then, the walls never stay up, and when they finally do, they’re crooked. Lol, one hot mess. So there you have it, that’s our traditions, I’d love to hear yours!

OLAF’S FROZEN ADVENTURE is great for kids of all ages, as young as 4, your kiddo and yourself will absolutely love everything about this 21-minute adventure about sharing, love, and family.

OLAF’S FROZEN ADVENTURE debuts before Coco on November 22.

Olaf (voice of Josh Gad) teams up with Sven on a merry mission in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 21-minute featurette “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure.” It’s the first holiday season since the gates reopened and Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) and Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel) host a celebration for all of Arendelle. When the townspeople unexpectedly leave early to enjoy their individual holiday customs, the sisters realize they have no family traditions of their own. So, Olaf sets out to comb the kingdom to bring home the best traditions and save this first Christmas for his friends. Directed by Emmy®-winning filmmakers Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers-Skelton (“Prep & Landing”), produced by Oscar® winner Roy Conli (“Big Hero 6”), and featuring a screenplay by Jac Schaeffer and four original songs by Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson, “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” opens in front of Disney•Pixar’s original feature “Coco” in U.S. theaters on Nov. 22, 2017.
