My Little Pony Digital Release December 19 and DVD January 9th!
Thank you, Lionsgate for inviting us to Duff's Cake Mix to celebrate the upcoming My Little Pony Digital and DVD release. In case you’re not familiar with Duff Cakes, founder Jeffrey Adam "Duff" Goldman is the executive chef of the Baltimore-based Charm City Cakes shop which was featured in the Food Network reality television show Ace of Cakes, his second Los Angeles-based shop Charm City Cakes West, which is featured in Food Network's Duff Till Dawn and "Cake Masters" series. His work has also been featured on the Food Network Challenge, Iron Chef America, Oprah, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Man v. Food. To say the man is a brilliant baker is an understatement.
We not only had the chance to decorate delicious cupcakes with My little Pony props, we have had a chance to design personalized Christmas ornament and on hand were hairdressers that colored our hair with fun temporary bright colors or clip on. With all our shenanigans I had a chance to interview Tara Strong the voice of Twilight Sparkle! Tara Strong began her acting career at the age of thirteen in Toronto, Canada. She landed several TV, film, and musical theater roles as well as her first lead in an animated series as the title role of “HELLO KITTY.” After a short run at Toronto’s Second City theater company, she moved to Los Angeles with an extensive resume that included her own sit-com and well over twenty animated series. Upon arriving in Hollywood, she quickly made her mark in several TV and Film projects such as PARTY OF FIVE, NATIONAL LAMPOON’S SENIOR TRIP, SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH, and more. She has had an iconic voice over career including; “BUBBLES” in “THE POWER PUFF GIRLS,” “TIMMY TURNER” in “THE FAIRLY ODD PARENTS,” “DILPICKLES” in “RUGRATS,” “RAVEN” in “TEEN TITANS,” “BATGIRL,” “FAMILY GUY,” “DRAWN TOGETHER,” “BEN 10,” “MELODY” in “THE LITTLE MERMAID 2,” “SPIRITED AWAY,” etc. She is Miss Collins on NICKELODEON’S “BIG TIME RUSH” and the current voice of “HARLEY QUINN.” She is Emmy nominated, a SHORTY AWARD winner and of course “TWILIGHT SPARKLE”.
It was such a pleasure speaking to Tara, she’s down to earth and truly one of the kindest people I have met. Tara is extremely active in giving back to the community which makes her a saint in my eyes. Thank you, Tara, for being so kind and taking time out to talk to our kiddos.
