Tully In Theaters May 4!

In Theaters May 4

“Tully" isn't technically a sequel to 2011's "Young Adult" or 2007's Oscar-winning "Juno" since all three films were written by Diablo Cody and directed by Jason Reitman, and two of them ("Young Adult" and "Tully") feature Charlize Theron as the lead role. No, this is about an overworked mom, a middle child who’s “quirky,” cluttered house, a spouse who thinks his wife has it all together and she’s preparing to have a third child.

Tully, a movie about motherhood that’s filled with laughs and tears. Get ready for a wild roller coaster of a ride, and a twist that will leave you gasping for air. Tully is a groundbreaker, shakes barriers and knocks down walls, it’ll open the lines of communication. Focus Features has removed the taboo and stigma that accompanies postpartum psychosis and depression.

Synopsis

A new comedy from Academy Award®-nominated director Jason Reitman (“Up in the Air”) and Academy Award®-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody (“Juno”). Marlo (Academy Award® winner Charlize Theron), a mother of three including a newborn, is gifted a night nanny by her brother (Mark Duplass). Hesitant to the extravagance at first, Marlo comes to form a unique bond with the thoughtful, surprising, and sometimes challenging young nanny named Tully (Mackenzie Davis).
