RaiseAChild HONORS - The Summer Party
RaiseAChild HONORS has an established reputation as the most fun and inspiring event of the summer. Its purpose is to celebrate the good work of RaiseAChild’s foster and adoptive parents, educate the public about RaiseAChild and its mission of “building loving families for foster children®,” and raise funds important to the success of the organization. This year’s event sponsors includes CBS, HBO, TLC, Banc of California, Warner Bros. Television Group, KidsEmbrace, 89.3 KPCC, Southwest Airlines, Rok Drinks, Mauro’s Cafe Fred Segal, 89.3 KPCC, Los Angeles magazine and CBS Sports.
Celebrities, civic leaders, corporations and nine of Southern California’s finest foster and adoption agencies join together in support of RaiseAChild’s mission of “building loving families for foster children®.” With over 34,000 children in its foster system, Los Angeles County has the largest child welfare system in the U.S. RaiseAChild is a national 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles serving a growing list of over 6,000 prospective and current fost/adopt homes. RaiseAChild serves the LGBTQ community and all people equally.
