ANT-MAN AND THE WASP arrives in theatres TODAY July 6th!

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP arrives in theatres TODAY July 6th!

Avengers Assemble, we have a candidate(s) Avenger! Ant-Man has suited up, and The Wasp is flying into action.

Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Producer Kevin Feige and Director Peyton Reed have returned and created a hilariously marvelous sequel to the blockbuster in Ant-Man 2015. They’ve added a kick ass character that will have every woman cheering and all little girls wanting to be a wasp. I’m patiently awaiting Evangeline Lilly’s wasp to be developed for Halloween, AH-MAZING.

**********SPOILER ALERT**********

As the movie begins Michelle Pfeiffer's beautiful face graces the big screen and Michael Douglas, the epitome of a Greek G*D (yes I’m enamored with MD) stands there with all his being, I’m mesmerized. He's like fine wine, only gets better with age. So glad that Michelle Pfeiffer has joined the Ant-Man family and what a comeback! She's amazing and the perfect addition to the Marvel universe.

Our storyline begins when Hank and his daughter, Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) the Wasp, have figured out a way to bring Janet back, her mom, his wife and they inlist Scott for the mission. One small dilemma, Scott is under house arrest and wearing an ankle monitor, once you see how they get around this you’ll pee laughing.

You’re wondering where Janet is? We need to take you back thirty years. Hank and his wife, Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), who’s also the Wasp, shrank to subatomic size for a battle, but Janet got stuck in the subatomic realm and hasn’t been back. Since Ant-Man, in the earlier film, proved able to both enter the “quantum realm” and exit it safely, they need him for a mission to bring Janet home.

The movie is full of one-liners that will literally have you laughing out loud. A particular scene that I thought was funny, I laughed so hard, my drink graciously came out my nose! Scott, Ant-Man a.k.a Paul Rudd proudly proclaims to Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) he was part of “Captain America: Civil War,” helping out the Avengers which refreshes her anger and silences Scott. Hope see’s this one action of his as a huge betrayal and knows that if she had gone with him he wouldn’t have been caught. Poor guy, he was so proud to be part of the Avengers for a split second and in his own way he's trying to name drop but Hope wants nothing to do with it.

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP is brilliant, witty and charming. I promise this is the one movie that will leave you in stitches and most importantly you’ll leave hopeful that Ant-Man will be an intricate part rescuing our beloved Avengers. I can't wait to hear your reactions, I love it when you email me debating scenes with me, please continue to do so, I look forward to it! I have a lot to say about Ant-Man but I don't want to spoil it for you, I'm holding back, so make sure you see it this weekend and I'll hear from you Monday morning! BTW, you can take your little one to see it, my 5 yr old loved it. Not only did he love the action, he wants all the Hot Wheels that Hank had! OMG, you'll have to tell me your favorite car, I'll tell you mine. Hint, it's fast, colorful and Michael Pena loves it also.

Scott Lang is grappling with the consequences of his choices as both a superhero and a father. Approached by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym, Lang must once again don the Ant-Man suit and fight alongside the Wasp. The urgent mission soon leads to secret revelations from the past as the dynamic duo finds itself in an epic battle against a powerful new enemy.
