Catch the High Seas with Hotel Transylvania 3!
Thank you Sony Animation for inviting us to Hotel Transylvania Press Junket and Premiere. We had an absolute blast and most of all we were given the warmest welcome to Hotel Transylvania. A place where ghost and goblins are treated like family because they are!
Hotel Transylvania is a staple in our home, from 1 and 2, now 3, it gets us laughing, appreciating our families and discovering new and fun characters. Hotel Transylvania 3 was inspired when our beloved Director Genndy Tartakovsky went on his family cruise and had some pretty awesome stories to share with all of us that made it to Hotel T! I do have to say, Dracs white shorts and white shoes that he wears on the cruise was taken straight from dad's closet! Not really, but seriously my dad has that same exact outfit and wore it on our family cruise which I promptly ran to the store and bought him black shorts and beach shoes.
Hotel T starts off with when Mavis books a special monster-themed cruise for friends and family. Drac at the beginning of the movie mutters "I'm lonely" watching everyone else paired up, tug at heart scene. As Mavis hears her dads declaration she's concerned for her dad and then becomes suspicious when her dad appears to instantly fall for the ship's captain. Captain Ericka (Kathryn Hahn), is a descendant of Dracs nemesis, Van Helsing. Captain Erica wants Drac gone just like her ancestors did, but he’s oblivious in who she is and whom she represents. Ericka schemes a trip to Atlantis where she’ll awaken the Kraken, pitting monster against monster to kill off the undead. Get ready for some EPIC shenanigans!
Hotel T 3 hit the open seas this weekend and it’s a must to see. With an amazing cast like this you know it’s a sure fire blockbuster that you and your kiddos will love! In Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, join our favorite monster family as they embark on a vacation on a luxury monster cruise ship so Drac can take a summer vacation from providing everyone else's vacation at the hotel. It’s smooth sailing for Drac’s Pack as the monsters indulge in all of the shipboard fun the cruise has to offer, from monster volleyball to exotic excursions, and catching up on their moon tans. But the dream vacation turns into a nightmare when Mavis realizes Drac has fallen for the mysterious captain of the ship, Ericka, who hides a dangerous secret that could destroy all of monsterkind.
