Dog Days - In Theaters TOMORROW, August 8!
Thank you LD Entertainment for inviting me to a pre-screening of Dog Days Movie and Press-Junket! What an absolutely delightful sweet movie, filled with laughter, innocence and the sweetest doggies you’ve ever seen.
The message that resonates throughout the movie, “Adopt, don’t shop.” The movie is based on one common denominator, dogs bring us together, they show us, unconditional love, teach us about gratitude, patience and much more. With an ALL-STAR cast, Nina Dobrev, Vanessa Hudgens, Eva Longoria, Rob Corddry, Tone Bell, Jon Bass, Michael Cassidy, Finn Wolfhard, Director Ken Marino, LD Entertainment Executives Mickey Liddell and Pete Shilaimon you can’t go wrong. Additional cast members included Elizabeth Caro, Jessica St. Clair, Matt Cordova, Tony Cavalero, Phoebe Neidhardt, Toks Olagundoye and David Wain. Dog Days Movie portrays life stories that are intricately woven together, connections and ties that we all have towards one another are mind-blowing, we really are several degrees away from each other. Get ready to have your hearts strings tugged at, you'll cry, laugh uncontrollably and have you hugging your loved ones extra tight. Marino did an awesome job in filming a movie that’s wholesome and appropriate for all ages. With everything that’s going on in the world, it’s nice to see a wholesome movie that will get you laughing out loud. If you have a pup like I do then you will 100% appreciate all the pup shenanigans. From begging your pup to do its business after spending 15 minutes pacing the same patch of grass over and over again, to a pup that barks for no reason (like ours), to another that’s a nugget of love that has to wear a little helmet, and our overweight pup that will help make a family feel whole.
One of the many things I learned about from cast of Dog Days, they all genuinely love their pets and or other peoples animal. When creating a movie such as this your talent on hand needs to genuinely cherish our 4 legged furry friends so it may shine through on the big screen, which it did beautifully. If you're looking for an end of summer movie that will delight you and bring your entire family together, then this is the movie for all of you! We loved it, Dog Days is a must see. x
