NAPLES RISTORANTE E BAR AND NAPOLINI PIZZERIA RE-GRAND OPENING!

NAPLES RISTORANTE E BAR AND NAPOLINI PIZZERIA AT DOWNTOWN DISNEY DISTRICT UNVEIL NEW COASTAL SOUTHERN ITALIAN LOOK AND MENUS

Patina Restaurant Group showed off a brand-new look yesterday at their Downtown Disney® District restaurants, Naples Ristorante e Bar and Napolini Pizzeria as part of a special event to commemorate their highly-anticipated renovations. The restaurants were redesigned by Shea Design. At Naples, new design elements include:

· A mural of photographs by Naples photographer Mimmo Fontanella

· A large “infinite loop” lighting fixture

· A fire-themed mosaic glass tile above a trio of new wood-burning pizza ovens

· An expanded outdoor patio with a new outside bar and fountain wall

“I am delighted to welcome everyone to the new, refreshed Naples and Napolini, with a new design intended to evoke the coastline of the Bay of Naples, Capri and Positano,” said Nick Valenti, Chief Executive Officer of Patina Resturant Group. “I originally created the Naples concept to showcase the cooking of my native Southern Italy.”

Chef Umberto Rubelli hails from Milan, Italy and brings an authentic Italian touch to the food. New menu items include a variety of fresh seafood, simply prepared fish selections with lemon, olive oil and tomato. Pizzaiolo Charlie Restivo runs the pizza program, with a new build-your-own pizza menu at Napolini. The pizzeria’s signature pies include Vesuvio (mozzarella, tomato, Calabrian chili, green olives, anchovies, capers), California (chicken, bbq sauce, red onions, cilantro, smoked mozzarella), and Capri (shrimp, mozzarella, fontina, lemon, pesto).

A dedication ceremony included members of the restaurant’s staff and executives from Disney and Patina Restaurant Group. They were joined by special guests Chef Mickey Mouse and Chef Goofy to round out the celebration. Following the dedication, media and guests were invited to partake in the food and hospitality at Naples.

Naples is open for lunch and dinner. Napolini is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with to-go options. Both restaurants are located at Downtown Disney District, 1510 Disneyland Drive, Anaheim, CA 92802.
