OWN IT ON DIGITAL NOW and ON BLU_RAY & 3/26
Thank you Universal Home Entertainment for inviting me to celebrate the DIGITAL release of Second Act Movie NOW and ON BLU_RAY & 3/26. What a fun afternoon hanging out with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Star, Teddi Mellencamp! We talked shop, motherhood, self-care and most importantly being real with yourself. My take away, “find your how,” meaning find how you can do something to better your life every day.
I love how Teddi put it “find your how,” meaning find out how you can motivate yourself. For example if you want to start working out that means you have to run a 5k tomorrow morning, what you need to do is walk for 10 minutes, everything is baby steps. Now if you didn't know Teddi is an accountability coach. An accountability coach as Teddi explains is, "I’m somebody who helps monitor your health and fitness goals, so, I’m empowering my clients to plan ahead and be committed to their intentions." Teddi, "is in constant communication with all her clients in regards to workouts and what they’re eating and together they can change their patterns and their lifestyles and make healthier options for them."
Remember, everything starts small. One of the things I think is important, be optimistic, I’m not saying be happy every day but know that every day you have the hope of being happy. Besides making yourself feel good about yourself, happiness is a positive emotion that drives your ambitions and motivates you to wake up every morning to pursue your goals and dreams. Here’s one thing you need to know, that no matter what age you are, what your education level is, it’s never too late to create the life you want. You have the power to change your life and most importantly DO NOT listen to the naysayers, there will always be negative people and it is your job to cut the noise. Yes, I said that, cut them out, doesn’t matter who they are, cut them out like the cancer cells they are.
