Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame Press Junket!

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame, In Theaters April 26.

Thank you Marvel Studios and Disney for inviting me to AVENGERS:ENDGAME press junket, every movie in Marvel Universe has lead up to this point. Just in case you missed what movies you need to watch here’s the list, prepare yourself. As my little one is telling everyone, "buckle up, it's going to be ride of a lifetime!"

MCU Phase 1 Iron Man (2008) The Incredible Hulk (2008) Iron Man 2 (2010) Thor (2011) Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) The Avengers (2012) MCU Phase 2 Iron Man 3 (2013) Thor: The Dark World (2013) Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) Ant-Man (2015)

MCU Phase 3 Captain America: Civil War (2016) Doctor Strange (2016) Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) Thor: Ragnarok (2017) Black Panther (2018) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) Captain Marvel 2019

Our press junket was totally bananas, Marvel left chairs open up on stage for the fallen hero's. Yes, that was dark and made me sad but we can’t deny the ending of Avengers Infinity War. On hand was Robert Downey Jr. (“Tony Stark / Iron-Man”), Chris Evans (“Steve Rogers / Captain America”), Chris Hemsworth (“Thor”), Scarlett Johansson (“Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow”), Mark Ruffalo (“Bruce Banner / The Hulk”), Jeremy Renner (“Clint Baron / Hawkeye”), Brie Larson (“Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel”), Don Cheadle (“James Rhodes / War Machine”), Paul Rudd (“Scott Lang / Ant-Man”), Karen Gillan (“Nebula”), Danai Gurira (“Okoye”), Directors Anthony & Joe Russo, Producer Kevin Feige and Jon Favreauas as the moderator. The entire cast didn’t utter a peep about the movie, tight lips, avoided questions and they all did it with a winning smile. Jon did ask Kevin what makes this movie so special and my immediate reaction was, we have been waiting for FOREVER for ENDGAME and all these characters, we are all emotionally invested in out of love and admiration. Below is Kevin's response.

JON FAVREAU: Yes. What makes it so special? What about this movie in particular?

KEVIN FEIGE: Well, what’s special is all the actors on this stage, all the actors who are not on this stage. And as you said earlier, the family that has come together this decade plus. And the fact that in a Robert said it so well in the trailer, part of the journey is the end. And about four or five years ago, we all started talking about doing something at every turn including the first Iron Man film. We talked about, how can we do something that’s never been done before. What is a superhero outs his identity at the very last shot of the movie? We can’t do that? No one does that. You can’t do that. What would we do next time? I don’t know. Let’s do it. Four or five years ago, we talked about, what haven’t we seen in films based on comic characters? We haven’t seen an ending. A definitive conclusion to an overall saga. So that’s why it’s called End Game and why I think it’s very, very, very special.

I can’t say much about the junket however I will share with you what happened to us, me and my little guy. After as a thank you for attending the junket we were gifted a custom made AVENGERS:ENDGAME t-shirt. I had ordered one for my kiddo because he is obsessed with Captain America. When I placed my order they mentioned it would take a while, so I went to pick up my kiddo and bring him back. Picture this, we pick up the t-shirt, P is super excited and puts on the shirt. I then hear a gentleman behind me talking to my kiddo asking, “who’s on your shirt?’ I turn around and I’m about to have an aneurysm, it’s Paul Rudd and Jeremy Renner! I started literally freaking out internally and I say to P, “Do you know who this is?,” my kid without missing a beat, “Ant-Man and Hawkeye but where’s Captain America.” Everyone around us started laughing and I wanted to ground to open up and swallow me whole, I died! Two of the biggest and talented actors standing in front of us and my kiddo, asks where’s Cap? O.M.G. I asked Mr. Rudd if we may take a picture with him and he asks my kiddo if it’s ok because he’s not Cap. The kindest human on this earth, Mr. Rudd, you can see it in his eyes, his core is kind, loving, patient and pure kindness. What a moment, I will be reminding P of this at his wedding! Thank you for taking a pic with my kiddo, we are forever grateful.

AVENGERS: ENDGAME is out THIS FRIDAY, April 26th!
