PECHANGA RESORT AND SPA is Temecula's Hidden Gem!
PECHANGA RESORT AND SPA is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Temecula. Only two hours away from Los Angeles, it’s spectacular. I was looking for a staycation resort and BINGO, PECHANGA has everything you’re looking for.
Pechanga Resort is owned and operated by the Pechanga Band of Luiseño Indians. Opened in 2002, Pechanga is the largest resort/casino in California and one of the largest in the country, with 200,000 sq. ft. of gaming space
When we first arrived, we walked through the casino to reach the resort, the casino is exhilarating. The slot machines lighting up, the sound, the people, you feel like you’re in Vegas, the hustle and bustle makes you feel alive, excited!
Now, when you check in it’s the exact opposite, it’s zen, quiet...peaceful. When checking in you’ll see “BUDDY” roaming around. Buddy resembles a giant R2-D2 combined with a Roomba that glides around the hotel lobby and atrium floor, constantly filming and surveying the scene. The other robot is named “Rudy,” sits stationary outside of the main casino valet entrance. Buddy is truly adorable, when you see him make sure you take a pic of him, we did and started following us around.
Our room was stunning, decorated in Italian furniture, flat-screen TV, fully-stocked minibars and floor-to-ceiling windows, you’ve gotta watch our InsaStories to see the room and view.
Pechanga has a breathtaking golf course and phenomenal spa, which offers everything from facials to full-body massages. When visiting take advantage of the pool, or book a Jacuzzi studio for access to your very own private hot tub. The Cove features three pools, including a zero-edge Main Pool that features a swim-up bar, a Family Pool with waterslides and a splash pad.
Make a reservation at the spa, you can get a day pass that lets you enjoy the amenities. The pool is beautiful and a great option if you want a less crowded, more relaxing experience. I 100% recommend when you’re at the pool to reserve a cabana, it’s a necessity! It’s an absolute for your sanity, you can order food, change clothes, lay down, watch TV, sleep and have your little one relax in comfort. The privacy that it brings is priceless.
We were only in Temecula for 24 hours, I recommend you stay at Pechanga Resort for 3 to 4 days, taste and tour through their hidden-gem wine region boasting over 40+ wineries and stroll the wooden boardwalks of historic Old Town. Reserve a Hot Air Balloon it’s a great way to see Temecula Valley. There’s so much to do, enjoy and take your time, you’ll thank me!
