Kick off the Holidays at American Girl Cafe!
Have you been to American Girl store recently? Boy moms, I'm asking you this also, did you know American Girl has Truly Me (boy) doll? My kiddo absolutely loves his Truly Me doll, not only does it resemble him, he can dress him up, take care of him but most of all it teaches him to be nurturing, have him show empathy, and care taking through doll play.
I know a lot of moms will get push back when people see your son playing with a doll but how are we to teach our sons that future fathers are just as important as moms, dads don’t babysit, but they care for their child. The opportunity to practice caring for our little one, allows boys playing with dolls to break the outdated view of a “man’s role” by teaching them responsibility, to be nurturing and even making them more open-minded as adults.
American Girl stores have multi-level shopping, that includes a photo studio, hair salon for the dolls, doll hospital and café. Once your kiddo finds their Truly Me doll, make your way to the cafe and get ready for an amazing experience. You’ll be blown away for so many reasons but most of all, your little one will eat everything while having fun! When you first walk in you'll notice everything is bright and cheerful. You'll have cafe perks waiting for you, each napkin is wrapped in a hair bow that you and your child will get to take home. Your kiddo will be offered a high chair for their doll, so the doll can join in on the fun. While the high chair is on loan, the dolls are given small cup and saucer that you can take home, it's precious!
As your browsing the menu you're brought a small plate of cinnamon rolls and after that an appetizer tray full of some café favorites, fresh vegetables, dip, and fresh fruits. For dessert, a beautiful chocolate mousse is served in a small flower pot with a flower embellishment. The menu has an abundant of choices, I recommend the hamburger, it's delicious, kiddo ordered chicken nuggets that he ate up in a blink of an eye. The holiday vanilla shake was festive and the hot chocolate hit the spot.
American Girl Café is perfect for an afternoon out with the kids, birthday parties and or for a special event. The American Girl Café offers brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner options, prices range from $19-$27 dollars per person (beverages are an additional charge). Make reservations ahead of time, the cafe is jammed pack! If you have any dietary needs, don’t hesitate to let your server know, the cafe can accommodate you. Reservations can be made by calling the location of your choice, or you can make it online at the American Girl Place website.
The holidays are the perfect time to visit America Girl store and Cafe, everyone will surely get into the festive spirit. BTW, make sure to pick up an AG Christmas Ornament, they’re precious.
