Disney Big City Greens!
Thank you Disney Channel for inviting us to a pre-screening of Big City Greens. A animated show that my kiddo is over the moon about.
The second season of Disney Channel's "Big City Greens" is set to premiere on Saturday, November 16. Created and executive produced by brothers Chris and Shane Houghton ("Harvey Beaks"), the series follows mischievous and optimistic 10-year-old Cricket Green who moves from the country to the big city with his wildly out of place family—older sister Tilly, father Bill and Gramma Alice.
The series is also heavily influenced by the brothers childhood growing up in the small, rural town of St. Johns, Michigan, with many of the locations and characters inspired by real-life family members and childhood townsfolk. Cricket Green is also voiced by Chris Houghton himself!
Shane Houghton: Big City Greens is basically an animated sitcom about a country family that moves up from the farm lands to the big city. We get to follow Cricket Green and his family. Cricket is kind of a mischievous and curious kid who gets into lots of trouble and learns a few lessons along the way. He’s also voiced by my brother Chris Houghton.
