8-BIT CHRISTMAS Junket and Premiere!

Thank you HBO, and the amazing cast of 8-Bit Christmas, Neil Patrick Harris, Winslow Fegley, Steve Zahn and June Diane Raphael for sitting down and talking to us!

Be still my beating heart, 8-Bit Christmas takes us back to the ‘80s, when every kid wanted a Nintendo game system or a Cabbage Patch Doll. The entire time I was screaming YESSSSS, my brother wanted a Nintendo and I wanted the Cabbage Patch Doll. I vividly remember the dolls being sold out and my mom looking at me saying, “I’m sorry.” My little heart was broken and now looking back on it, the hype was all to real. If you’re wondering did I ever get the doll, yes I did, after Christmas!

My parents were able to purchase my brothers Nintendo, that was in stock. I remember him being so happy and him wanting him to share his new games with me and we had a blast playing!

Neil Patrick Harris plays the present-day adult narrator, telling the story of his younger self’s incredible efforts to be the first to own one. While the movie may have “Christmas” in its title, though, Harris told us it would be a mistake to think of the film solely as a Christmas-themed story.

Make sure to catch both interviews and see what the cast has to say about the instant holiday classic, it’s up there with ELF and A Christmas Story! Happy Holidays
