ARTEMIS FOWL Spoiler Free Review!
Artemis Fowl, if you’ve read the book and are anticipating watching the movie, you’re in luck, it’s filled with adventure, magic and wonderment.
Director Kenneth Branagh and the star studded cast Ferdia Shaw in the title role alongside Lara McDonnell, Josh Gad, Tamara Smart, Nonso Anozie, Josh McGuire, Nikesh Patel and Adrian Scarborough, with Colin Farrell and Judi Dench do a marvelous job depicting our favorite characters.
You’ll be hearing mixed reviews about Artemis Fowl, just know they book is always better than the movie but the movie will have you appreciating the visual interpretation of the mystical world that’s is being presented to us with a twist that is intriguing.
Artemis Fowl is a true spy adventure movie for your little ones, children 6 and up will enjoy every bit of it. I will mention, in some scenes they do use guns but they look more like high tech blasters. Don’t worry there is no blood shed, no bad words, and as I like to call it, “clean and safe for kiddo to watch.” I will say there is a scene which I thought, “OMG, Disney did it again,” I was in tears, but soon realized, everything will be ok.
With Josh Gad, you know he will always have the best zingers, which by the way, are geared towards the parents because we’ll understand why Judi Dench looks like “David Bowie”. I absolutely recommend Artemis Fowl as the must see family movie.
A story about a boy rescuing his father and learning what family secrets lie beneath the enchanting stories that’s been shared with him all his years. They do say, the more outlandish the story, that there’s always some truth to it?
