Bone-appetit Treats! CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG IN THEATRES AND ON PARAMOUNT+ NOVEMBER 10, 2021!
Our family is so excited about CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG COMING TO THEATRES AND ON PARAMOUNT+ NOVEMBER 10, 2021!
To celebrate CLIFFORD hitting the big screen, I’m sharing with you our fur babies favorite bone treat with you, it’s bonetastic!
You’ll only need 5 ingredients total to mix together:
• pumpkin puree
• peanut butter (you MUST use natural peanut butter in the recipe or at least make sure that the peanut butter doesn’t contain Xylitol.)
• eggs
• whole wheat flour
• cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice (optional, make your own pumpkin pie spice and omit the nutmeg as it can be toxic to some dogs)
Once you have all the ingredients in a bowl, mix it all up. The dough is stiff and a little sticky. Then you’ll need to roll it out with a rolling pin and cut out the shapes with a bone cookie cutter and or any holiday cutter you like.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350, peanut butter dog treats are fully baked at 20 minutes however, be aware, they get crunchier the longer you bake them. They also get crunchier after they’ve cooled so keep that in mind.
I’m adding in here, just to be safe, when you are baking for your fur baby please stay away from these food products. These are only to name a few, please reach out to your Vet for a complete list.
*Onions, garlic and chives. The onion family, whether dry, raw or cooked, is particularly toxic to dogs and can cause gastrointestinal irritation and red blood cell damage.
* Chocolate.
* Macadamia nuts.
* Corn on the cob.
* Avocado.
* Artificial sweetener (Xylitol)
* Alcohol. ...
* Cooked bones.

When middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gifts her a little, red puppy, she never anticipated waking up to find a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment.
