Easter Sunday – In Theaters Now!
Thank you Universal Pictures for the “Dinner & and Movie” tonight! Our belly’s hurt from laughing so hard! Easter Sunday will have you doubled over from the hilarious lines and most of all, I know you’ll recognize a “few” family members! We all have the one crazy aunt, or the nosy family member. Everyone’s got someone that drives them up the wall, it’s what we make of it that keeps the peace or shakes up the family.
I highly recommend seeing Easter Sunday, especially now that the holidays are right around the corner, we need to get prepared, and most importantly to laugh and remember not to take everything so serious. I won’t spoil the movie but I will say the entire cast crushed it, they were all stupendous. Thank you Universal, we needed to laugh and this was perfect.
SYNOPSIS
Stand-up comedy sensation Jo Koy (Jo Koy: In His Elements, Jo Koy: Comin’ in Hot) stars as a man returning home for an Easter celebration with his riotous, bickering, eating, drinking, laughing, loving family, in this love letter to his Filipino-American community.

Yang (Silicon Valley series), Tia Carrere (True Lies, Wayne’s World films), Brandon Wardell (Curb Your Enthusiasm series), Tony nominee Eva Noblezada (Broadway’s Hadestown), Lydia Gaston (Broadway’s The King and I), Asif Ali (WandaVision), Rodney To (Parks and Recreation series), Eugene Cordero (The Good Place series), Jay Chandrasekhar (I Love You, Man), Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip) and Lou Diamond Phillips (Courage Under Fire).
Easter Sunday, from DreamWorks Pictures, is directed by Jay Chandrasekhar (Super Troopers, The Dukes of Hazzard, I Love You, Man), from a script by Ken Cheng (Sin City Saints series) and Kate Angelo (Sex Tape) based on a story by Ken Cheng.
