Thank you Kevin James for sitting down and talking with us about your new movie, HOME TEAM premiering on Netflix on January 28th!

Netflix’s new NFL movie “Home Team,” which depicts Saints head coach Sean Payton coaching his son’s PeeWee team while suspended from the NFL is full of heart, gusto, and all around a feel good movie. You’ll be routing for the HOME TEAM!

Kevin George Knipfing is known professionally as Kevin James, a brilliant actor, comedian, and screenwriter. He’s best known for his role as Doug Heffernan on the CBS sitcom The King of Queens (1998–2007), for which he was nominated for a 2006 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. He starred in a CBS sitcom, Kevin Can Wait (2016–2018), which he was nominated for a 2017 People's Choice Award.


James has appeared in the films Hitch (2005), I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry (2007), Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009), Grown Ups (2010), Zookeeper (2011), Here Comes the Boom (2012), and Pixels (2015). He has also done voice work for Monster House, Barnyard (both 2006), and the first three films of the Hotel Transylvania franchise (2012–2018).

Synopsis


Two years after a Super Bowl win when NFL head coach Sean Payton is suspended, he goes back to his hometown and finds himself reconnecting with his 12 year old son by coaching his Pop Warner football team.
