PLANT-BASED MADE EASY-ISSUE 9 by Chef Daniella Malfitano!

Daniella Malfitano is a multi-faceted chef, health coach, host and author. For the past decade she has worked globally with several industry-leading companies as a wellness expert and a passionate culinary educator. As a chef of 15 years and an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach who loves empowering people to enjoy the power of a plant-based diet to attain and sustain personalized optimal health, her experience in the kitchen, on stage, and behind the camera has led her to work with individuals and industry-leading companies as a trusted wellness expert and culinary health thought leader.

After 10 years of cooking, consulting and restaurant management in some of the best restaurants in the country including Chef Gabrielle Hamilton’s Prune and Chef Thomas Keller’s Per Se, Chef Daniella left F&B operations to enter the world of culinary media. In 2011 she co-hosted the national syndicated radio program “On The House” as the Resident Chef. In 2012 she wrote and produced the television show Delicious Discoveries with Daniella Malfitano on PBS for the Northern CA market. She went on to publish several cookbooks, a top-rated culinary app called “Cook Italian with Daniella Malfitano”, and appeared on Harry Connick Jr’s daytime talk show “Harry” as the San Francisco culinary expert.

Chef Daniella graduated with highest honors from the French Culinary Institute and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Chef Daniella serves on the Executive Boards for the California Avocado Commission and the California Blueberry Commission. Chef Daniella is the culinary host of the Orange County Fair and can be seen on Television on Guy's Grocery Games on the Food Network as well as on her PBS TV farm-to-table culinary series, Delicious Discoveries. And you can also catch her on the Disney stage each year, as Chef Daniella is the Festival Host for The Disney California Adventure® Food & Wine Festival, where she writes and produces her very own in-park cooking Family Time mainstage shows, as well as interviews and cooks with America’s best chefs every weekend of the Festival. Chef Daniella is dedicated to sharing the value of making intuitive choices in the kitchen and beyond.

Chef Daniella received the Leadership In Health Coaching Award in Integrative Nutrition for her commitment to education and for creating health focused family-friendly edu-tainment online content about cooking and mindful living called My Choice Kitchen, as well as her weekday LIVE culinary show called Plant Based Made Easy, for weekday cooking and nutrition lessons on Facebook @chefdaniellamalfitano and on YouTube @ChefDMalfi.
