Thank you Netflix for inviting me to THE SLEEPOVER press junket with Ken Marino, Maxwell Simkins, Lucas Jaye, Malin Åkerman, Cree Cicchino and Sadie Stanley.

If you’re looking for a wholesome, slapstick, funny movie to watch with the entire family, THE SLEEPOVER is exactly what I recommend.

It’s filled with action, one liners, and it’ll make you appreciate your parents. I’m telling you, you’re kids will have an ah-ha moment, “mom and dad had a life before us.” You’ll get a kick seeing the light go off when they realize that. My little one asked me if, “I was a super hero,” and I asked why? He said, “it’s because I always come to his rescue!” Get ready for your kid(s) questions, it’s going to be a doozy.

Make sure to catch the interview clips, I asked Malin Åkerman, Cree Cicchino and Sadie Stanley how they got into shape with all the stunts preformed and if anyone got hurt. Heads up, Malin has words of wisdom when you’re head butting a person.

Ken Marino , Maxwell Simkins and Lucas Jaye, shared what their favorite scene was and why. What I find beautiful, the reason why they seemed like “family” on the big screen is because in real life they’ve become family, they look out for one another, lift each other up and push one another to excel. During the interviews they would encourage their co-star, they were inclusive and it’s truly neat seeing something so pure.

THE SLEEPOVER is on Netflix TOMORROW, make sure to watch it this weekend. An added bonus, Netflix has created some fun activities below for you and the family, they’re super cute. You’re weekend is planned, viola!
